Emerson quiet kool through the wall air conditioner review as the name suggests emerson quiet kool is a quiet through the wall ac. We purchased this unit for our kitchen. The unit is super quiet for this size product but it does not cool the room very well. I m over 60 years old and had no trouble installing this window air conditioner into a window that is at eye level.

I ve waited until summer was over for us to post this review. It is so quiet you don t think it s running. At 12000 btu the ac can provide effective cooling in a room size of 550 square feet. Cools quickly and is relatively quiet when compared to other portable models i have purchased previously.

Cooled down a 200 square foot room in less than 8 minutes in 90 degree heat. 5 0 out of 5 starsliterally looking forward to purchasing more of these. I suppose if you ve only ever had central air it might take getting used to but for those who ve grown up with window ac this unit is a dream. This is a great unit for an 11x11 room.

A couple of reviews claim this unit is too loud. The unit is designed for the window sill s installation. When outside is 90 degree the cooling is not good. The fan is quieter than a window unit but it s not just the volume of the noise it s the type of noise.
